The SKIP #MyFabulous campaign is one that I am especially excited about. SKIP is launching the SKIP Fabulous Edition pack & have found the perfect way to include you in the celebration. Durban is often not included when it comes to campaigns, launches or music shows, so I am so excited that this project has included our beautiful city in a BIG way.
Durban designer Sibu Msimang along with Rich Mnisi (JHB) & Jenevieve Lyons (CPT) will each be creating a 10 piece designer collection inspired by the unique style of their city. The inspiration behind Sibu’s collection will be coming from you, the fabulous women living in Durban.
But, before we get ahead of ourselves, let’s talk about how you can inspire Sibu & her designs. This Saturday, 30 May at 10am I will be hosting the #MyFabulousDBN instawalk from The Skatepark (on Durban beachfront) to Moses Mabhida. This is not your typical instawalk, this is the #MyFabulousDBN instawalk & the aim here is to showcase our fabulous city & the fabulous women in it.

It is a normal instawalk, but with a twist. The typical instawalk documents the environment you are walking through, but in the #MyFabulousDBN instawalk we are not only showcasing our beautiful city, but also the style of the women we see in & about Durban during the walk. We will all be sharing the imagery we capture during the instawalk on Instagram & using the hashtag #MyFabulousDBN so that @skipsouthafrica & the designer Sibu can see your posts & gain inspiration for the designer clothing range she will be designing.
