By now, you all know that the Fashion by Brett Robson blog was down for almost 2 weeks. This was the most stressful time for me. My awesome web developer, Kyle was working non-stop trying to sort out the issues we were experiencing.
This blog was previously hosted on Blogger, which I was very happy with. However, I wanted a new look, & that is when I saw the limits Blogger has, so I migrated over to WordPress. Easy enough right? No. I had gone with a hosting option via the company I have my domain registered with, but for some reason, their servers were unreliable. I found myself sitting with 5 devices, & my blog only being seen on 3. This means that some people were able to view it & others not. BIG PROBLEM. I was quite annoyed that I had paid 6 months in advance for such crap service, only to sign up with another hosting service a few days later, but it had to be done. I couldn’t have the unreliablity of their service. The switch over took 7 working days which is why we were “temporarily unavailable”. But we are back now, & I am so excited for this new look. It is simple & clean, & exactly what I envisioned. I want you guys to browse the site & tell me what you think of the new layout. I have added a NEWSLETTER Sign Up on the right panel, so be sure to sign up for that. I have lots of exciting things coming up, & my NEWSLETTER SUBSCRIBERS will be the first to hear about them. I have lots of plans to give you great content that you will love so get excited!
Now, let’s talk about today’s look. This is not something I wear in daily life, but it is still a look that I absolutely love. If you’ve been following me on Instagram (@brettrobson) you will remember this dress. I told you I’d post it didn’t I? It’s risqué & bold, and Jerome & I had so much fun shooting this.
