Blanket Cape (Vila @ Superbalist) | Leggings (Brett Robson) | Leather Bucket Bag (Superbalist) | Boots (Superbalist) | Sunglasses (Chloe Eyewear)

I feel as though this blanket cape has been my best friend for the past week. Durban usually has fairly warm winters, & just as we start looking forward to Spring – we’ve suddenly been hit by the cold. There has been rain & wind, and honestly I hate leaving the house. I have endured cold weather in New York & London but I will admit that this is not as cold as that – but it’s still pretty darn cold.

I was pretty keen on this blanket cape from the get-go. I love the idea of being able to wear something a million different ways. Today I decided that belting it would look best for this post. However, on the other occasions I have worn it, I have draped it over my body without a belt. I feel like an item like this is the ‘star of the show’ & you don’t have to go crazy with the other pieces. I decided to pair the blanket cape with my Brett Robson leggings because it added the perfect amount of edge & comfort to the look. However, you could easily wear a pair of blue denims too. I opted for a NastyGal bralette under the blanket cape, because it was simply not cold enough to wear a top under. And besides, do I really need an excuse to wear my favourite bralette?

I hope you all have a great, productive week ahead. I am starting the Rush Tush #GlowCleanse & her #NewbieBody today. Wish me luck 🙂

**I am working on the online store & getting some great Summer merchandise to you 🙂
