With the chilly months slowly approaching, I would imagine many of you thinking “What should I be wearing this winter?”

Well, the forecast for Winter 2010 is Luxe, Tactile Textures, and Sophistication.
Yes ladies, the new fashion season has begun!!!

This is my pick for the top trends this winter:

Pretty in Peach
Work those pretty nude, skin, and peach shades.
Not every shade works for everyone, so find the shade that best suits you.
The best way to wear peach is to team it up with another colour like aqua or denim to break it up.
The Chanel haute couture show in Paris emphasised that pretty is here to stay.

The pencil skirt is another key look, and a great wardrobe basic to build upon.
It’s sharp, and more sculptural this season.

Jumping for Joy

WARNING!!! The jumpsuit is NOT for everyone!!!!!!
Make sure the jumpsuit you choose is right for your body proportion-wise.
I love Miranda Kerr in this cobalt-blue David Jones all-in-one.
Tres chic!

A sexy pair of thigh-high boots can take you from day to night this winter.
Team them up with a butt-hugging pair of jeans or a dress with opaque tights.

And now for the things that really count this Winter:

Wear stripes in cardigans, basic knits, and jackets.
It’s an easy way to freshen up any winter wardrobe.

Make a statement with muted colour and pattern.
But if making a statement is not for you, you will always be safe in black opaques.

Don’t go all Morticia Adams, but do invest in a good winter dress to suit your body and personality.

I love this David Jones dress. The long sleeves and open back work well with this embellishment on the front.
