The Coveteur is one of my favourite websites. I love to see the closets of celebrities & my favourite fashion bloggers. The imagery that is created by that amazing team of people is really something else. I especially love when they shoot during big events like fashion week. It’s so exciting to see what these icons of style decide to pack; & how they pack.
Last August I decided that doing my own Coveteur-inspired shoot would be fun. So I shared this idea with Jerome who was just as excited. Jerome & myself have been shooting together since July 2014, so we do get bored with the routine. And, the idea of creating different content for my readers is also appealing because I’m sure you like to see something different from time to time too. Right?
We shot at a beautiful hotel in Umhlanga, which I won’t mention because the entire experience was absolutely awful. What was supposed to be a 3-hour shoot, had to be crammed into 1-hour. And so, there was less of the product shots, & more of the ‘Brett shots’ because it’s quicker to dress me than style a product shot. Unfortunate, but true. I think that considering the limited time we had, we created some really great imagery; & I most certainly look forward to sharing the rest of the images in parts 2 & 3 of this shoot.
Please tell me what you think… I feel hella sexy & awesome. I absolutely love every image. It was awful having to ‘try to edit’.

I know what you mean by getting bored in a routine of outfit looks. I LOVE The Coveteur and I dig your interpretation. It’s so creative and looks like tons of fun.
