I cannot believe that it’s taken me this long to get this video out there. I wanted to do this months ago, but to be honest I always just pushed everything else to the front of the queue & left this Black Owned Make-up Brands Tutorial on the back burner. Like I said in the video, I want to share these black owned make-up brands with you. But I would also like to speak on my experience. I would never tell you guys to spend your money on a brand that I don’t believe in; & that is why I included the customer service aspect in the video.
Majority of the black owned make-up brands mentioned in the video are not South African. Other than Connie Transform, I did want to include Miss Salon London, but like I said in the video; the brand failed to respond to my foundation query so I moved on & used Fenty Beauty instead. Beauty Bakerie is such a great concept. I really love the overall appeal of the brand. It is special. I would definitely like to support more beauty brands that are owned by people of colour & women especially. I believe it is important. If you know of any brands you think i should try, please do let me know in the comments below. And if you’ve had any experiences with the brands I’ve used, please do also share.
I hope you enjoy the tutorial & chit chat about the products.
Let me know what you think!
