If you’ve ever watched one of my YouTube videos – you know I love me some concealer! I have been trying these concealers from the Benefit Boi-Ing concealer range for a few months now. You guys know how I operate with a review – I have to be sure about something if I’m going to tell you to spend your money on it! As a brand, I love Benefit! There are many products from the brand that I love; & the packaging is always cute & fun.

My concealer habits are fairly simple. My under eye area is a main concern. For the most part, when I am wearing make-up I need a good concealer to cover those dark circles. I seldom have much need to cover up other areas on my face, but I sometimes do need a little extra help! Benefit’s Boi-ing concealers  come in 3 shades: Light #1, Medium #2 & Dark #3. Previously Benefit had the Boi-ing Industrial Strength Concealer in the range. However, with the revamp & re-launch, they have offered the concealers in different formulas for different purposes. The Boi-ing Industrial Strength Concealer has been a cult product for years. Surely we’d expect nothing less than that for the other concealers in the Boi-ing family.

Boi-ing Hydrating Concealer

Surprisingly this is my favorite concealer in the Boi-ing range. I have used the Boi-ing Hydrating Concealer more than I have used any of the other concealers. While I love concealers that are full coverage; I find it difficult to find a concealer that can be worn with no other make-up under or on top of it. The Boi-ing Hydrating Concealer is my GO-TO for no make-up days when I am looking for a slight amount of coverage but don’t want to look like “I’m wearing make-up”. It’s in a lip-balm style package which is very easy to use. The concealer is situated in the centre of the stick, with Vitamin E & Apple Seed Extract surrounding it. Even though there are only 3 shades out (I use #2), I feel that because this concealer is so hydrating it really just blends into the skin so beautifully. I have no doubt that it will work in the same way for you. With heavier concealers you can make them work because you’re pairing it with foundation. Wearing concealer on your bare skin is a whole different ball game; but as I mentioned above, I feel like it melts into the skin & blends well. I don’t often set this concealer, but you can most definitely set it with a loose or pressed powder. It’s all about preferences.

Boi-ing Airbrush Concealer

I like to use the Boi-ing Airbrush Concealer for spot concealing. I have used it on it’s own, & also in conjunction to wearing foundation. I find this concealer to be medium coverage; when blended out it does sheer out & you’re able to see skin. I feel like it can be built up to full coverage, but if you’re wanting full coverage then rather the Boi-ing Industrial Strength Concealer right? The formula is very creamy & I find that this product must be set in place otherwise it tends to move & lose it’s effect. I don’t use any special powder to set it, just whatever is closest to me; so you’d be able to use any powder in your make-up bag too.

Boi-ing Brightening Concealer

This one works wonders for my dark under eye area guys! WOW! The Boi-ing Airbrush & Brightening Concealers are very similar. The Airbrush Concealer is a little more creamier, but the Boi-ing Brightening Concealer also has a creamy formula to it. While this is also shade #2, it has a pink/peach aka salmon undertone which cancels out the darkness under the eyes. This would be the main area I suggest using it on. I always use the Boi-ing Brightening Concealer with foundation, & tend to layer it on top of the foundation. It is a medium coverage concealer, but it does the job of hiding my sins pretty well! Because of the creamy formula, I do suggest setting the under eye with powder.

Boi-ing Industrial Strength Concealer

This is the full coverage baby in the Boi-ing concealer range. I don’t reach for it as much as the Hydrating Concealer, but I have used it quite a bit. It most certainly is a heavy-duty, “I’ll hide everything” concealer – but it’s just not a favorite. I am not sure why, but I just don’t reach for it that much. Perhaps it’s that I have so many other favorite full coverage concealers that it just doesn’t make the cut. And even while writing about these 4 concealers – this is my least favorite. Off the top of my head, I would put it down to the consistency. The Boi-ing Industrial Strength Concealer does not have a very creamy consistency. And when I think of my favorite concealers, they’re all either very creamy or liquid. That paired with the fact that I have to use a brush to dip into the container is why it’s not my favorite I guess. Personal preferences. The product itself is not bad, it’s just not for me.

Overall, I’d say give these a try. By all means you do not need to buy all 4 of them. Purchase what you need. These were sent to me in PR, but if I had to purchase them, I would buy the Boi-ing Hydrating & Brightening Concealers. Those are the 2 concealers in the range that I use the most. As mentioned above, I use shade #2 in all 4 of these, & they all work well with my skin tone. I suggest you head down to your nearest Benefit Cosmetics counter & give them a try if you aren’t sure which one you’d like to get. The Benefit ladies are truly so helpful & fun too! LOL.

If you’ve tried any of these, let me know your thoughts below! And if you haven’t tried them which Boi-ing concealer speaks to you the most?
