You know by now that I love colour on my lips. Mostly I opt for lipstick, but lately I have been reaching for gloss more often. We are heading into WINTER & while many tend to opt for darker lips. I think that there are many lip colours you can wear all year long. That being said, I want to share my TOP 5 lip gloss shades that I know will keep your lips looking great for all 365 days of the year.

L’Oreal Extraordinaire 600 Nude Vibrato

This is my favourite of the 5. I love this one because it is the PERFECT NUDE GLOSS. I wear this nude gloss on it’s own, but especially over my favourite nude lipsticks. If you have a nude lipstick shade that is too pale, layering this gloss over it will give it a little colour.

L’Oreal Extraordinaire 304 Ruby Opera

This is a great red gloss. I adore the rich, ruby shade that suits so many skin tones. What I love about the L’Oreal Extraordinaire lip glosses is that they are very moisturising. I wear matte lipsticks so often that my lips are almost always dry. This is a nice change from that.

LA GLAZED Lip Paint ‘Hot Mess’

I know what you’re thinking. Orange? Haha yes orange. Orange is a great lip shade that is perfect for Spring/Summer but also good for Autumn/Winter. During the colder months far too many people steer towards dark everything, so adding a bit of  bright , bold colour in your lip colour could make you stand out.

MAC Golden Blanket

I received this in a gift from a friend, & I am quite sure that it was limited edition. But, it’s still a gloss I reach for very often. I love the slight shimmer & sparkle in this one. I never wear this alone because it is too sheer. However, I do pair it with almost every lipstick shade I have. It really can add dimension to any lipstick colour.

Revlon HD Lip Lacquer ‘Smoky Quartz’

Brown is such a hot lip colour. I have been seeing so many girls wearing brown on their lips these days. Funny, I remember my mom used to wear brown lipstick when I was younger. She had quite the selection of lipsticks. I think Smoky Quartz shade is glorious. I always wear it on it’s own when I am feeling like I want my lips to make a statement. Brown is an easy colour to pull off for most skin tones, although I don’t suggest very dark brown shades for very fair skinned people. I feel like you need to have a little colour to wear brown lips.
