I purchased the L’Oreal Infallible Total Cover foundation in New York after seeing all the hype around it. Straight up, I am unsure if this foundation is available in SA or if it will become available at a later stage. I am using the shade 308 Sun Beige, which is typically a shade I would wear by L’Oreal.

According to L’Oreal, here are some of the characteristics of this foundation:

• Lasts 24hrs
• Natural finish
• Air-Light Texture
• Ultra lightweight, seamless coverage
• Can be used as a body foundation (legs, arms etc)
• Full Coverage
• Silicone-based
• No SPF
• Not tested on animals

What do I think?

I found this foundation to be quite thick when applying it to my face, & definitely not lightweight as they say. The finish was matte in my opinion, & definitely not a natural finish. I really enjoyed the coverage. I like to pack it on, so that’s just up my alley. However, when applying it I did find that it was “cakey” around my nose. Personally, I liked the foundation, however by the end of the day I found that the colour had changed a lot.
