Hey guys! This post is especially for my Durban readers. The Lucky Brand denim donation drive has finally reached Durban, & you have up until 30 June to donate a pair of your worn denims, & in turn receive 50% off your new Lucky Brand denim purchase. Awesome right?
So yesterday, I visited the Lucky Brand flagship store in Westville (Pavilion) & I donated a pair of my favourite skinny jeans to the cause. I also purchased a pair of Charlie Super Skinny jeans. I did post a picture on my instagram about my visit to Lucky Brand, & I was asked an important question: Where do the donated denims go?
Well, Lucky Brand has teamed up with the SOS Children’s Village. All the denims that are collected are sent to Port Elizabeth where the women in the SOS Children’s Village repurpose them into new denim products which are sold to generate an income. Pretty awesome right?!
