It’s no secret that I am a HUGE Matte Lip fan! I did after all do an entire YouTube video on my Matte Liquid Lipstick Collection, which if you haven’t watched can be seen – here. And while I am a liquid lipstick die-hard; I do think matte lip cream colours are also a great option if a matte lip is what you are looking to achieve.

The best part about wearing a matte liquid lipstick is that it stays on all day long. The worst part? They are mostly dry, & can leave my lips feeling awful. Which, in all honesty I am ok with. But, I don’t necessarily want that all the time. And I have found matte lip creams / lip colours to be a great alternative for me. If I am heading out the house for a bit or have a fresh face (as opposed to full beat), I think a matte lip cream is the better option to wear.

The matte lip creams/lip colours I am sharing today are among my favourites to wear. And they are all affordable too. While the applicators between the brands are different, I do find that all of these are very easy to apply. And they last a considerable amount of hours on the lips. They definitely don’t have the kind of wear a matte liquid lipstick gives, but they certainly won’t rub off like a lipgloss would. Another thing I love is that a matte lip cream won’t leave your lips dry as they have more moisture in them than that of a liquid lipstick.
